Prime Video has confirmed that the upcoming third season of its hit YA series The Summer I Turned Pretty will be its last. The 11-episode installment will premiere in July, but no exact premiere date has been set at the time of this publishing.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on the book series by Jenny Han, stars Lola Tung, Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney as Belly, and brothers Jeremiah and Conrad, respectively. As the show is based on a book trilogy (with each season corresponding to one book in the trilogy) the move was not unexpected. The show originally debuted in 2022, with Season 2 dropping in 2023.

An official show synopsis reads: “The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer.”
